Due to greatly increased participation based on tonnage and relocation of our bins, we are not able to track each visitor to the Recycling Facility.

22 Categories of items collected ranging from latex paint to corrosives, acids and other flammable or dangerous materials

Latex Paint - 16,416 LBS (8.21 Tons)
Oil base paint - 8,825 LBS (4.42 Tons)
Bulk used oil - 18,800 LBS (9.40 Tons)
Automotive type batteries - 6,450 LBS (3.23 Tons)
Acids, corrosives & poisons - 490 LBS (0.25 Tons)
657 participants

948 Gallons of recycled latex paint distributed to 133 participants (no cost)

The one-day collection on May 3, 2008  had 52 participants and 2.50 tons of materials collected.   We continue to use inexpensive or free advertising for both the recycling center and the household hazardous waste collection. The recycle trailer was on site for this collection and 23 participants brought plastics, aluminum cans, newspapers and glass to be recycled.
