Equipment Operator III- Public Works - The employee in this position may operate a variety of heavy equipment requiring a degree of skill in performing a variety of job assignments. This employee performs tasks related to road and bridge maintenance and construction.
Juvenile Intake & Assessment Worker - Marion County - Day- Community Corrections - This position is within the Eighth Judicial District Community Corrections program. Responsibilities involve screening and conducting intakes for juveniles and having responsibilities for coordinating placements into foster care, emergency shelters, detention or attendant care. Cook II - Temporary- Sheriff Department - Responsible for food preparation, kitchen clean-up, and general food service duties at the Geary County Jail. Working hours are 6am to 2:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. Work schedule will include some weekend days and holidays. Accepting online application only.
Correction Officer - Sheriff Department - Under the supervision of the jail shift lieutenant, the jailor takes care of the needs of the inmates in the Geary County Detention Center. The employee in this position is responsible for the safety, proper treatment, cleanliness, and basic care of inmates and the facility. Accepting online application only.
