Lieutenant - Corrections -  Sheriff Department - The job duties of the Lieutenant - Corrections include but are not limited to assist with the overall supervision of the County jail.  See job description for full details.  Accepting online applications only.


Juvenile Intake and Assessment Worker - GC - Nights - Community Corrections - This position is within the 8th Judicial District Community Corrections program.  Responsibilities involve screening and conducting intakes for juveniles and having responsibility for coordinating placements into foster care, emergency shelters, detention or attendant care.  Accepting on-line applications only.

   

   Project Coordinator- Contract position - Wildcat Public Health Emergency Preparedness Region - The individual contracted for this position will develop a Regional Medical Reserve Corps for Emergency Preparedness in the Geary, Pottawatomie, Riley Counties and Fort Riley Area.  Requires recruiting and training volunteers as well as promotion and public education regarding Medical Reserve Corps.

 

 Deputy Sheriff/FF- Sheriff Dept. - The employee in this position performs general law enforcement duties in the protection of life and property with Geary County.  Accepting on-line application only.

 

Correction Officer - Sheriff Dept. - The employee in this position is responsible for the safety, proper treatment, cleanliness, and basic care of inmates and the facility.  Accepting on-line application only.  Previous applicants need not apply
